Confirmation One element of CLC's mission is to "Equip people with a faith that works in real life." Listed below are many of the opportunities for Spiritual Growth, Christian Fellowship and Christian Service that you are invited and welcomed to become a part of through this congregation. Our prayer is that you will find many ways within the life of this congregation to experience and grow in the love of Jesus Christ.

     Educational Ministries:
  • Sunday School from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. September through June.
  • Bible Study each Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:15 a.m. September through June.
  • Confirmation Classes for young people ages 11 to 18 offered on Tuesday afternoons.
  • For Adults Only offered on Sunday afternoons during some months of the year and covering a whole range of topics
  • Spiritual Formation &/or Reading Groups offered week nights in 6 to 8 week sessions
  • Movie Time offered at various time during the year, with discussion on Faith Issues Raised in the movie viewed.
  • Baptismal Instruction arranged as needed in both individual instruction or class instruction.
  • Inquirers Session arranged as needed in both individual instruction or class instruction.

     Group Ministries:
  • Coffee and Snack Fellowship held each Sunday starting at 11:30 a.m. at the church
  • Junior Youth - open to children in grades 1 - 6
  • Senior Youth - open to young people grades 7 - 12
  • Time Out Club - made up of folks 30 something through 60 something
  • Pairs and Spares - made up of folks 60 something and up
  • Crafters Group - made up of folks who like to do seasonal crafts of all sorts
  • Cleveland Investors - made up of folks who like to invest in the stock market
  • Martha Circle - Women's group who meets on Monday's once a month
  • Priscilla Circle - Women's group who meets on Friday's once a month

    Worship Ministries:
Our worship life is led by our Pastors and Worship Teams of: Choirs, Soloist, Acolytes, Readers, Prayer Leaders, Communion Assistants, Video-ographers, Altar Guild, Greeters and Ushers. All are welcome to join in the Worship Leadership Teams and are trained for the Service of Worship Leadership.

    Music Ministries:
  • Sunday School Choir: often sings at the 10:30 worship hour 4 to 6 times a year.
  • Young Voice Choir: rehearsals on Monday Evenings and sings at the 10:30 worship hour every 3 or 4 weeks
  • Chancel Choir: rehearsals on Tuesday Evening and sings at the 10:30 worship hour September through June
  • Soloist & Small Groups: rehearses with the Music Director at various times and performs at various services
  • HandBell Choir: we are in the process of establishing a HandBell Choir within the year
  • Concerts & Cantatas: are presented by our groups as well as outside groups each year in the sanctuary
    Drama Ministries:
    Christmas Pagent
  • To The Castle - a musical: to be presented in November of 2001
  • Christmas Pageant: a annual production of our Church Sunday School Students and Staff
  • Dramatic Readings: presented by a variety of groups 2 to 3 times a year
