Christian Education Committee

Christian Education Committee oversees the conduct and promotion of all areas of education within the congregation providing lay support and material aids for all child, youth, and adult classes.

In January 2000 the committee began preparing and serving dinner to the 7th and 8th grade confirmation students each Wednesday from 5:00 - 5:30 pm.

In April 2000 the committee co-chaired the Teacher/Choir Appreciation Brunch with the Worship and Music Committee.

In May 2000 we celebrated the end of the Sunday School year with a "Jesus Loves Me" recognition celebration.

Vacation Bible School was held in July with 150 children attending.

Rally Day started off the new Sunday School year with games, singing, praise and ice cream.

Confirmation was held on Reformation Sunday in October. On the Sunday before, dinner was held for the 9th grade confirmation class.

December brought the annual Christmas Program with dinner after the program served by the high school youth.
