Welcome! It is our sincere hope that you would worship with us at Faith in Eldridge. We endeavor to greet you with God's love and open arms. We look forward to meeting those of you we have not yet had the opportunity to meet!
I offer you a brief introduction to myself. I began my work at Faith Lutheran Church on May 1, 2003 after completing my Master of Divinity degree at Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago and after my ordination on April 12, 2003. I work most closely with the Christian Education, Evangelism, and Social Ministry Committees. However, my goal is to encourage and enable all of us to be able to share our faith with others, to share the good news of God's presence in our lives. Hopefully, we can work together in this mission.

Christian Education Committee
"Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded of you" are Jesus' words as recorded in Matthew 28. The Christian Education Committee works to help carry out this mission through Sunday School for all age groups from 2 years old through adults, Vacation Bible School, the Confirmation program with mentoring groups for junior high youth, and various other educational opportunities.
Evangelism Committee
Sharing the good news of what God has done for us is the goal of this committee. We share God's love through support of a missionary, sponsoring a child through Compassion International, welcoming and encouraging visitors who worship with us, and introducing this congregation to people new to the community. Others are always welcome to join in the work of this committee, either formally or informally.
Social Ministry Committee
The Social Ministry Committee has a two-fold purpose: to nurture social relationships within the congregational community and to do ministry outside the walls of the church. Both of these tasks encourage us to share our faith and support others in their needs.
