Musical Notes
We are now in the season after Pentecost, the long general season of the church that stretches through the summer. The Chancel Choir is taking a break from regular rehearsals and the Summer Singers will be providing music for our worship services. I would like to invite you to consider singing with us during the summer. Summer Singers is casual and fun. There is no weekly rehearsal — we meet at 10:00 Sunday morning and learn simple, easy music for that day. Last summer we explored some of the new offerings in the Evangelical Lutheran Worship hymnal. This summer we will explore additional resources in this new hymnal as well as other simple pieces. Consider joining us for the summer or perhaps a couple of Sundays, as your schedule permits.
