Meet the Pastor

Pastor Judy Brennan has been the Interim Pastor of First Lutheran since March 2010. Before coming to First, Pastor Judy was the Interim Pastor of Calvary Lutheran, Louisville, KY during 2009. Her first call was at Grace & Glory Lutheran Church in the Prospect/Goshen, KY area from 2004-2008.

She attended Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary (PLTS) in Berkeley, CA where she received her Master of Divinity in 2004. She did her Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA and her Internship year at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Bethlehem, PA. Pastor Judy also received her BA from Wartburg College in 1997 where she designed her major entitled "Church and State in a Global and Multi-Cultural Society".

Pastor Judy lives in Prospect, KY with her husband, Dan, and two daughters, Becky and Heidi. She enjoys reading, walking, making beer, watching sports and spending time with family and friends.
