Boy Scouts of America, Troop 2
Mountaineer Area Council

It seems appropriate to mention the Boy Scouts as part of our Church's history. Troop 2 has held it's meetings here since before 1925 and possibly for as long as we've been an active congregation. More research is being done & the information will be posted here.

One award I discovered was a Certificate of Heroism to James Fortney for saving a drowning person in the Monongahela River on July 22, 1951
