| Video Faith Lessons, led by Pastor, help us understand the life and work of Jesus in the geographical and cultural context in which the Gospels were written. We will delve into some of the Gospel stories to get more insight for our faith, and talk about how these stories relate to our lives today. EVERYONE WELCOME! |

BIBLE STUDY - OPPORTUNITY THE BOOK OF GENESIS : BEGINNINGS The Beginning of the world – the Beginning of the Bible How did it all begin? If God is good, what went wrong with the world? And why? Why are humans always trying to dethrone God and enthrone themselves? Why was the Bible written? What are it's central themes? What is God's plan to rescue the world from its own foolishness? What is Love? What is Grace? What was God's promise to Abraham ? How did Israel end up in Egypt – in slavery? The BIG STORY of all history was played out on the LITTLE STAGE of a land called Canaan - Palestine - Israel. There's some interesting and important things to learn about that "holy" land. This class, led by Pastor Ron, is for new members, long-time members who wish to review the basic teachings
of the Bible, or people wondering what Lutheran Christians believe, and what our faith is all about. We will discuss all of the key teachings of the Christian faith, what the Bible teaches about Creation ... Sin ... Jesus ... Faith ... Baptism ... Holy Communion ... Discipleship ... Church ... the Holy Spirit ... and more. With lots of opportunity to ask questions, in a comfortable, informal setting, this class will meet for 14 weeks, in St. John's Parish House. |

DISCIPLE WORKSHOP is a 6-week workshop about our vision for our church, how we're organized, our
mission and ministries, and how you can help and get involved. We want to help everyone find a meaningful
way of serving as a Disciple of Jesus. Both classes will begin as soon as we have 5 or more participants enrolled. Call Pastor Ron if you have any questions or wish to enroll. ONE-ON-ONE BIBLE STUDY (5-SESSIONS) is also available with our Deacons. Talk with Pastor |

Our Sunday School is blessed with a wonderful caring staff of teachers dedicated to teaching the Word
of God to the children in their care. Junior Choir All boys and girls from Kindergarten through Grade 8 are invited to join Junior Choir. Choir rehearsals are held on Wednesdays from 3:30 to 4:15pm. The choir sings during Sunday morning worship services throughout the year, approximately twice per month. If you would like more information or have any questions, please speak with the Junior Choir Director or with Pastor Ron. Confirmation Classes A two year confirmation class is lead by Pastor on Wednesday's from 4:00pm to 6:00pm for our 7th and 8th grade students.
