Rose of Sharon Lutheran Church is a Christian place of worship where the Word is taught purely and the sacraments are adminstered properly, where Christ is confessed boldly, and where sinners are forgiven and find peace. Please join us for a Divine Service and Bible study. We rejoice in the opportunities that our gracious God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - has given us to speak His Gospel in and around Cottage Grove, Minnesota. At the center of the church's life is the worship of Christ Jesus, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. By His resurrection from the dead we are given life in His Name. We invite you to share with us in these gifts and so to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Savior, Jesus Christ. God has called us out of the darkness of sin and death to walk in His marvelous light. |

Why Worship at Rose of Sharon?
Do you seek the Truth? Do you seek wisdom? Do you want to grow spiritually? Do you want to know what God's will is for you and all of His creation? God's Word is Truth and the source of wisdom and spiritual growth. Unfortunately, many "churches" no longer have the truth. 2 Timothy 4:2ff describes this ongoing battle for truth, "Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage--with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. "
Rose of Sharon Lutheran is blessed to have Pastor Miller. He is a faithful Pastor who always teaches the truth from God's Word. If you seek truth, wisdom, and spiritual growth you will find it at Rose of Sharon Lutheran Church. Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." John 8:32-32
