| Our Worship Setting |
|
The members of St. Paul Lutheran Church extend a welcome to you to worship with us. Two areas, marked VISITOR PARKING, are located in the large parking lot. We hope your visit with us will be meaningful, and you will return to worship with us again. Please introduce yourself to the greeters and help us by signing our guest register located on the desk behind the greeters in the narthex. Above the registration desk are various brochures that may interest you; additional pamphlets are displayed in the cabnet to the right of the doors leading to the nave. The Pastor greets the people in the narthex after the Service. Again, please introduce yourself. A nursery, located in the educational wing, is available during the worship service. A cloth "worship bag" is available for older children to use during worship. Ask an usher where these worship aids are located. |
| Handicap Support |
| Hearing assistant receivers are
available for individuals. Ask
an usher if help is needed. Handicapped-accessible restrooms are located in the educational wing. The lights turn on (upon motion in the room) automatically when the door is opened and turn off automatically after 10 minutes of inactivity in the room. |
| Holy Communion |
|
Communion is celebrated the 2nd
Sunday each
month plus festivals and special times of the church year. All baptized
Christians who normally commune in their home congregation and who
believe in the presence of Christ in the elements of Communion are
invited to partake of the Sacrament.
Procedure: Come forward to the altar rail at the direction of the usher. Take an empty glass from the stand as you approach the altar if you prefer NOT to receive the common cup. Children who do not commune and others wishing for a blessing without communing may come forward and clasp their hands together as the pastor approaches. Place your glass in the tray as you return to your pew, |
