Adult Protective Services

Adult Protective Service is a state-mandated program provided without regard to income to adults 18 ears and older who:

	because of mental or physical dysfunction;
	are unable to manage their own resources, carry out the activities of daily living, or protect themselves from neglect or hazardous situations without assistance from others; and
	have no one available who is willing and able to responsibly assist

Referrals can be made by phone Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at Central Intake, 212 630-1853.
