Trinity is a member of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. The Missouri Synod is a group of congregations that hold to the following beliefs.

• The Lutheran belief of Salvation is based on Ephesians 2:8-9. "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and not of ourselves, it is a gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast."
• We believe that the true God is the Triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
• We believe that the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God and the only source of our teaching and faith.
• We believe that every person is by nature sinful and without forgiveness is lost for all eternity.
• We believe that God so loved the world so much that he sent His Son to suffer and die for our sins and to rise again to be our Savior.
• We believe that God forgives and saves all who repent and accept Jesus Christ as their Savior.
• We believe that that Holy Baptism is intended for old and young alike. Through it, God washes away our sins and adopts us into His Family, the church.
• We believe that in Holy Communion we receive the Body and Blood of the Living Christ along with the bread and wine, for the forgiveness and the strengthening of faith.
• We believe that out of love for God's Salvation, we seek to live a God-pleasing Life.
• We believe that those who die in Christ enter paradise at the time of death.
• We believe that at His second coming, Chirst will raise all the dead and judge all people.
