Principal David Sellmeyer has served Trinity since 1990. He also serves as the Teacher for fifth and sixth grade. He was born and raised on the south side of St. Louis, Missouri. In 1971 he received his BA from Concordia University in River Forest, IL. In 1976 he also earned his Master's Degree. He has taught in Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin throughout his career.

When asked why he became a teacher, he said, "It's a family tradition, which has become a noble calling to serve my Lord."
