Our Pastor

Pastor Ebert was born in Edmonds, Washington in 1961. He grew up in Edmonds, graduating from Meadowdale High School in 1980. He earned a two-year degree in machinist technology from Shoreline Community College, Seattle, Washington, a Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia College, Portland, Oregon in 1987, and a Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1991.

Following graduation from seminary he served churches in Illinois and Messiah Lutheran Church, Salem, Oregon. He began serving Bethel as interim pastor in September 2000 and accepted a call to be pastor of Bethel in February 2002.

Pastor Ebert lives in Salem with his sidekick Crito, a daschund.
