Text Box: CHRISTMAS SEASON WORSHIP SCHEDULE Text Box: THE CHOIR CANTATA Sunday, December 14—10:30 service This year the choir will be presenting “Once Upon a Night” Text Box: SUNDAY SCHOOL CHRISTMAS PROGRAM Saturday, December 13—5:00 p.m. This year the program is “The Christmas Program Rehearsal”. CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES Wednesday, December 24 Worship services are scheduled for 4:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. (*The Christmas Eve schedule is on the bulletin board in the narthex. If you will be attending Christmas Eve services here at Faith, and can help usher, greet, be a communion assistant, lector or be an offering counter, we ask that you please sign up or call the office. POINSETTIA SIGN UP If you wish to purchase a Christmas poinsettia, you may sign up now on the sign up sheet that is on the bulletin board in the narthex. The cost is $8.00/plant. Checks should be made out to Faith Lutheran Church and the envelope should be marked “flowers”. You may take your poinsettias home following the December 28th services. CHRISTMAS “SPECIAL OFFERING” This year we will put the designated Christmas Offering toward two needs. One half of the offering will be put toward the support of Beloit Children’s Home in Ames, Iowa. This is a residential care and treatment facility for troubled children. This facility is operated through Lutheran Services in Iowa. These children have had to be removed from their homes for a variety of reasons. Beloit offers a safe environment for children, and their families, to receive help to enable them to return to a safe home setting. Beloit’s facilities are quite small and in need of much repair in order to provide the best care. They are undertaking a capital Improvement project to build a new and updated facility. Sharing our special Christmas offering with this organization is a wonderful gift and an amazing opportunity to help others in need. The other half of the offering will be used in house to help catch us up on our bills.
