The evening begins at 6:00 p.m. with punch and dinner follows at 6:30 p.m.. Start the holidays with an evening of fun and fellowship. Everyone is asked to bring a dish to pass and their own table service. “Joyful Noise” will entertain us with Christmas carols. Mothers, daughters, and friends should plan on attending. Text Box: LOOKING FOR A CHRISTMAS GIFT? How about a cookbook? The 50th anniversary of Faith cookbooks would make wonderful holiday gifts and can be purchased at the church office or by contacting Linda Szemkus (282-9785) or Sue Strazewski (285-4131). The cost is $14. They are also being sold following the services on December 6&7 and 13&14. Text Box: No December meetings Text Box: COOKIE DAY Tuesday, December 9 at 9:00 a.m. The Women of Faith will pack cookies for shut-ins. Anyone wishing to help with this event is asked to bring 3 dozen cookies. We will sample some cookies over coffee and share some Christmas stories. If you wish to donate cookies, but are unable to help on the 9, you may drop your items off at the church a day or two before. Text Box: *Please note: The recipe Grandma’s Banana Tea Bread on page 9 of the cookbook calls for 1 cup of milk. The correct amount is 1/3 cup.
