Vacation Bible School: A
community-wide, non-denominational program held during the
3rd full week each August for children ages 3 through 6th
grade. Through fun games, songs, crafts, snacks, and activities,
over 100 kids learn of the gracious love of our Lord –
“The best part of summer vacation.”
Confirmation Classes: An
in-depth, two-year program of weekly instruction in the Christian
faith and the Lutheran doctrine for 5th and 6th grade you.
Those completing classes are invited to become members of
Resurrection Lutheran Church.
Adult Bible Classes: Four
classes are offered Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:15 am year
round. There is always a variety of offerings to choose from,
such as, a book of the Bible, Christian topics, Biblical personalities,
and spiritual development. It’s a weekly opportunity
to learn God’s Word and how to apply it in our daily
lives.
Discipleship Groups: Small
groups of people who meet regularly for study of God’s
word, prayer and fellowship. This type of setting provides
an intimate environment to grow in faith and develop lasting
relationships. Some groups examine specified topics, while
others are formed around a common need. A variety of groups
meet weekdays and evenings.
Basic Christianity: This
ten-session course examines the basic teachings of the Christian
faith and their meaning for our lives. It’s an opportunity
to grow in the Lord and discuss questions about God, the Bible,
Baptism, the Lord’s Supper, Faith, the Holy Spirit,
Prayer, Eternal Life, and More. For those wishing to join
the congregation, this is the basic requirement. Offered 4-5
times yearly.
Parenting & Marriage Classes:
Offered periodically, these classes are based on Biblical
principles and practical suggestions. Classes are taught in
a variety of formats and are open to adults in the church,
preschool families, and from the community.
Lending Library: Christian
books and videos are available covering a wide variety of
subjects for people of all ages and situations in life. This
ministry is in process at this time.
